Kiddipedia Sleep Support

Putting our little ones to bed can sometimes be an uphill battle. For some of us, we follow a strict routine, for others, it’s a case of winging it each and every night.

One thing many parents can agree on is that sleep, or lack of it, becomes a VERY BIG part of our lives after we have children. We love to talk about sleep, how much we are getting, how much we are not getting, what is sleeping through, do we dream feed, do we just feed on demand, do we try and resettle without feeding…… the questions can go on and on…

Many sleep experts and Mums swear by setting up a regular bedtime routine to help get their children ready for a good nights sleep.

When my children were younger I found lullabies really helped to set the bedtime routine by not only helping my children relax but also helping me to wind down after a hectic day.

These days lullabies can come in the form of old classics through to the reimagined rock and pop songs from our youth.

Here’s 5 of my favourite lullabies we play regularly on Little Rockers Radio. Lullabies your little ones will love and you will also enjoy!

  1. Baby Roxers, Listen to Your Heart (The Lullaby hits Vol 1)
  2. Baby Wars, The Imperial March (Star Wars Lullaby Version)
  3. Itty Bitty Beats, Crochet Hearts (Lay Your Head Down)
  4. Candace Night, Baby Mine (Starlight Starbright)
  5. Jewel, Somewhere Over the Rainbow (Lullaby)

If you haven’t tried music as part of your bedtime routine yet, then I recommend you give it a try.

Lullabies can be heard each and every night on Little Rockers Radio, 7pm – 6am.
