Whilst it’s not an official medical diagnosis, it is a term used to identify a human response associated with burnout due to chronic stress.

What is chronic stress? Well it’s the response to emotional pressure suffered for a prolonged period of time in which an individual perceives they have little or no control. COVID being a prime example.

Understandably, following the events over the past 12 months, it ’s becoming evident that many of us have experienced symptoms of Crisis Fatigue at some point. It has almost become a little bit of a phenomenon.

As many of us may very well may be still be experiencing the mental and physical symptoms that come with this condition, we speak with our guest Suzanne Robinson from Mummy to Twins Plus One, who has admitted herself to suffering with it.

We ask Suzanne questions including:

  1. Bushfires, COVID, Homeschooling, Financial pressure are some of the reasons you have experienced Crisis Fatigue. Can you share some of your experiences these last 12 months?
  2. Crisis Fatigue is a very real condition that the majority of the planet have simultaneously experienced at the same time, which in itself is quite unique don’t you think?
  3. How did you find talking to other Mums helped during your darkest moments?
  4. What strategies have you applied to help overcome Crisis Fatigue?
