Sometimes it can be hard to stay motivated, especially when you are juggling lock downs, children, a career and a family. The reason people find themselves unmotivated could be because they are not seeing the bigger picture. When things are left open and a vague you will quickly find your motivation will decline. Here are some ways in which you can bring back your motivation mojo.
Set goals
By setting goals you have something to aim for. You can not hit a target that you can not see! So every day before you go to bed set some goals that you want to achieve the next day. They don’t have to be huge life changing ones. Just simple ones that are achievable and realistic. Write them down and check them off as you do them. Even the process of a motivational check list will help you stay focused and on task.
Look motivated
Think about how you present yourself. How you sit, stand, move. Did you know action leads to motivation? If you change the way you sit or stand you will instantly feel better and more focused. Think about the movements you would normally make when you feel motivated. Do you sit taller? Walk faster? Next time you feel an unmotivated slump coming along, just change the way you present yourself and you will be surprised how good you will feel.
Find an accountability partner
Sometimes to stay motivated all you need is a little push from a friend. Find yourself someone who you can report to every day and someone who will push you when you feel like giving up. Sometimes all we need is a little encouragement from a friend to help us stay on track. Its human nature not to let people down. So by having an accountability partner you will feel motivated to achieve your goals. After all you don’t want to let them down.
Set a reward for your self
A reward system if always a great motivator. When you are setting your goals a fun think to do is attach a reward to each goal. You reward can be anything that you enjoy. It can be a walk or something you might purchase. What ever brings you joy is what will keep you motivated .
