Spoil the special women in your life with these unique Mother’s Day card inspirations by Bostik. With clear and simple, easy-to-follow guides, these craft projects are kid-friendly and will unleash the whole family’s creativity!

For Grandma: Tea-rific card

  • 1 piece of coloured A4 paper
  • Scissors
  • 1 tea bag – preferably grandma’s favourite!
  • Bostik Blu-Tack
  • Bostik Glitter Glue

Step 1: Fold your piece of A4 coloured paper in half to create the base of your card.

Step 2: With your base card, cut out a ‘mug’ shape using scissors.

Step 3: To create the handle, fold the semi-circle inwards and poke a hole with your scissors. Once you’ve cut through, create a smaller semi-circle for your cup’s handle.

Step 4: In the front fold of your card, use scissors to cut out a slit in the top half of the cup. This is where your tea bag will sit.

Step 5: Insert your tea bag through the slit of your card and hold into place using small pieces of Blu-Tack. This is so Grandma can easily remove and use!

Step 6: Now it’s time to write your greeting! We suggest: ‘Grandma you are Tea-rific!’

BONUS: Add some extra details to your card by using Bostik Glitter Glue. Get creative with the many colours that come in one case!

For Mum: Thanks for raisin’ me Ccard

Materials

  • 3 pieces of different coloured A4 paper
  • Scissors
  • Pink Ribbon
  • Small Raisin Box or Bag
  • Bostik Blu Stik
  • Bostik Clag PVA Glue
  • Bostik Glitter Glue

Instructions

Step 1: Fold your first piece of A4 coloured paper in half to form the base of the card.

Step 2: Use your scissors to cut out another piece of coloured paper into a rectangle.

Step 3: Repeat this step with another piece of different coloured paper but cut slightly smaller to fit into the first rectangle.

Step 4: To create a border, use Bostik’s Blu Stik to stick down the smaller rectangle to the larger one. With the same Blu Stik, stick against the base card to create your heading banner.

Step 5: Now it’s time to write your greeting to mum. We suggest: ‘Thanks for raisin’ me Mum!’

Step 6: With Bostik Clag PVA Glue, glue a small box or bag of raisins to the front of the card. For less mess, carefully add glue to the corners and centre of the raisin box or bag to stick into place.

Step 7: Make a bow with a pink ribbon and with the Bostik Clag PVA Glue, stick to the front of the raisins box or bag for an added bit of flair.

BONUS: Use Bostik’s Glitter Glue to make your card sparkle and stand out!
