What is Family Zone?
Family Zone is an immersive 3D game available for free on Roblox, designed as a shared digital playground where a parent and child can co-play, bond, and build healthy digital habits together.
When a parent and child play Family Zone as a pair, they will find:
• Interactive co-play: mini-activities that teach parents how to navigate Roblox while their child plays alongside them.
• Parent tutorials: hands-on walkthroughs for setting up parental controls, including screen-time limits, spending limits, and content restrictions.
• Safety education: coming soon are modules built with global safety experts that address topics like bullying resilience, scam prevention, and how to recognise and avoid predatory behaviour.
Since launching, the game has already logged over 7 million visits, pointing to a real demand for online learning through co-play.

A settings menu can tell parents what parental controls exist, but it can’t show them what their child’s day-to-day experience on Roblox is actually like. While a tutorial can explain the platform, playing together does more.
