Long gone are those days of pregnancy being a condition that puts women on bed rest for 9 months.

Just because a women is pregnant doesn’t mean she has to stop physical activity, if anything there are a number of health benefits associated with exercise during pregnancy. These include reduce backaches, constipation, bloating and swelling, boost in mood and energy levels. It can helping you sleep better, preventing excess weight gain and promoting strength and muscle tone amongst many other benefits.

Exercise during pregnancy has been be a controversial and confusing topic in recent years.

To help clarify why this is so, and how you can best monitor healthy levels of exercise during pregnancy we welcome our special guest Rachel Simpson

Rachel is a women’s health educator, a Physiotherapist, Nutritionist and health coach and natural fertility educator. Her obsession is teaching women how to take control of their health as she teaches women all the things we never learnt in health class- that being about periods, pregnancy and pelvic floor.
