With Easter fast approaching we parents may be rattling our brains for holiday activities that’ll keep the kids entertained without being glued to technology.

Craft activities are perfect for keeping kids amused and allows for kids to unleash their creativity while having fun during the break. It’s also something that the whole family can get involved in – great for building bonding moments.

Our friends from Bostik have provided us with these fun and easy-to-create craft activities.

Hop into the Easter spirit and follow these craft instructions below to create egg-citing Easter projects.

 

Craft Project: Easter Basket

 

MATERIALS NEEDED:

– Bostik print out template (A3)

– Bostik Blu Stik

– Bostik Clag Kids PVA

– Scissors

– Coloured pencils

– Pink crepe paper

– Googly eyes x 2

– Cardboard paper

 

STEP 1: Print the template and cut out the shapes.

 

STEP 2: Use Bostik Blu Stik to stick the shapes to cardboard paper. Cut them out.

STEP 3: Fold along the dotted lines to form and create the basket.

STEP 4: Use Bostik Blu Stik to glue the tabs of the basket together.

STEP 5: Use Bostik Blu Stik to attach the handle.

STEP 6: Decorate the ears with the pink crepe paper.

STEP 7: Use Bostik Clag Kids PVA to attach the googly eyes and ears to the basket.

STEP 8: Use a pencil to curl the ends of each whisker.

STEP 9: Use Bostik Clag Kids PVA to stick the whiskers to the basket.

STEP 10: Decorate the bunny’s face. Get creative with your coloured pencils!

 

 

Craft Project: Rabbit Outfit

 

MATERIALS NEEDED:

– Bostik print out template (A3)

– Bostik Blu Stik

– Bostik Clag Kids PVA

– Bostik Glitter Glue Classic

– Stapler

– Hole puncher

– Coloured markers/pencils

– Light green tissue paper

– Dark green tissue paper

– Elastic string

– 1 x pink pom pom

– 4 x white cotton balls

– White pipe cleaners

– 1 x popsicle stick

 

 

STEP 1: Measure around the head of your child and cut out the headband strip to size. Staple the ends together.

STEP 2: Print out the templates provided and cut them out.

STEP 3: Use Bostik Blu Stik to stick the pieces onto the cardboard paper and cut out again.

STEP 4:  Use Bostik Glitter Glue Classic, coloured markers or pencils to decorate the eggs and bow tie.

STEP 5: Colour the inside of the rabbit ears with pink markers or pencils.

STEP 6: Use Bostik Clag Kids PVA to glue down the white cotton balls on the edge of the ears.

STEP 7: Cut fringes along the green tissue paper. Be sure to keep one end intact. Use Bostik Blu Stik to glue down the tissue paper around the headband.

STEP 8: Secure the rabbit ears and eggs to the headband with a stapler.

STEP 9: Use a hole puncher to punch two holes centred on the bunny’s bow.

STEP 10: Cut the elastic to the required length and thread it through the holes. Secure with a knot.
