Bayside Dietetics

Sarah Smith works in private practice in Bayside Melbourne after working for an extensive period within a Melbourne Children’s Hospital.

She thoroughly enjoys helping children and their families to be as nourished as they choose to be. Many children have specific food concerns, whether they be around a food reaction, difficulty with working out how much to eat, limited food choice or worries when it comes to food.

Sarah thrives on helping these children and families work towards a freedom from the limits these concerns can impose. That may be in the form of new food ideas, providing information, or counselling. But always addressing the specific concerns of the family she is working with.

Sarah has done post-graduate training in both children’s nutrition and counselling. She believes these skills are critical to helping children and families receive the specialised care they deserve.

This will be Sarah’s first introduction to blogging and she is delighted to be working with Kiddipedia, an organisation all about nourishing everyday Australian families.
