-How to clean my laptop?
Over the last year, searches for cleaning our laptops have risen perhaps due to prolonged periods of working from home. Electrical items do not like the chemicals found in normal cleaning products so it is recommended that a dry cloth is used to remove fingerprints or laptop safe screen wipes for tougher stains. Cotton buds are great for cleaning in between keys but always make sure your laptop is off before cleaning.
-How to get red wine out of my carpet?
There are a few different ways to try and get red wine out of your pale carpet but one of the most important things to do is act as fast as possible. Try to dilute or neutralise the colour using water or liquid of the opposite colour, eg white wine. Then sprinkle salt and press it onto the stain which will draw out any moisture. Alternatively, a mixture of cold water and baking soda applied to the stain for around 10 minutes should also work magic.
-How to clean stainless steel pans?
Soaking your stainless steel pots and pans for several hours in warm soapy water will remove food stains and give them an initial deep clean. Next, using a cloth or sponge, rub baking soda onto your pans to eliminate evidence of heat damage and finish off with stainless steel polish to give your cookware that finishing shine.
-How to wash blinds?
For roller blinds, ensure your blind is fully rolled down and use your vacuum’s upholstery tool to gently remove dust and dirt. For a deeper wash, wipe in a downward motion from top to bottom using a clean, damp cloth or use a fabric stain removal product for stubborn stains. The same applies for vertical blinds and to clean the headrail, you should carefully unclip each of the louvres from the brackets and wipe the underside with a damp cloth. In all cases, let your blind fully dry before pulling it back up.
-How to clean patio slabs?
If you do not have a pressure washer, a simple way to neaten up your patio slabs is to firstly remove weeds taking up as much of the root as possible. Depending on the size of your patio this can be time consuming but can make a great difference to the appearance of your outside space. Next brush your slabs with mild washing up liquid and warm water, remembering to brush down the cracks before washing down with water.
