Acai is known to be full of antioxidants!  The full effects of eating antioxidants is still being researched, however it is thought that a diet high in antioxidants could help reduce the risk of many diseases such as heart disease and certain cancers. Antioxidants are likely to reduce the free radicals in your body which in turn decreases the damage caused by oxidisation. Apart from being healthy for you Acai is also delicious!

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 frozen organic Morning Co acai blend sachets
  • 1/2 cup Morning Co banana slices
  • 1/4 cup coconut water
  • 1 handful of spinach or kale
  • 1/3 avocado
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 handful of frozen berries

METHOD:

  • Place all ingredients in the blender
  • Blend until thick and smooth 
  • Pour into jar or bowl
  • Top with fresh fruits, seeds or nuts to serve
