Your identity is who you are intrinsically and internally. It is the real you. Establishing, solidifying your identity involves two processes. First, you must know your core values and allow everything you do and say to emanate from these pillars of your soul (Releasing).  Second, you should process and filter things you encounter through these core values as well (Receiving). This process will enable you to find and operate within your true self, which is what is needed for living a fulfilled and happy life.

Once you know yourself, the way you project it externally is imaging. Imaging is comprised of your visual representation and communication. To be respected and transparent, we want to ensure that we are presenting consistent visuals and messages that align with who we are.  When there is a discrepancy between the two (visuals/messages), our imaging is affected.  This impacts our credibility and reputation, which are two elements we must protect and uphold.

In summary, the inner you and the outer you should operate in harmony because if there is disagreement, the result can be an identity crisis. This is where you end up living a life that does not suit you, going from one awkward adventure to the next, which is something you want to avoid at all costs.
