As Easter approaches, it’s such a fun time of year to do some crafts and make these fun Easter cards for your friends and family. Join MIchelle as we step through this project.
Materials
A4 piece of paper and pencils or crayons
A5 card
scissors
round things from around the home to use as a circle template: sticky tape, toilet roll, mug
black pen
glue stick
Process
1. Gather materials
2. To create your own coloured paper, use pencils or crayons to colour in
3. Trace circles onto coloured paper. One large (approximately 50mm) and one medium (approximately 28mm)
4. Cut out circles with scissors. These will become the rabbit head and body
5a. To make the rabbit ears; trace a circle and cut out
5b. Use the template to draw two arcs on the circle
5c. Cut out ears
6. Fold A5 card in half and arrange pieces. Stick down with glue stick
7. Decorate your card by adding some grass
8. Add the greeting “Hoppy Easter”
9. You can make your writing fancy by adding dots to the lines
10. Leave minute for the pen to dry and erase the line. Your card is finished!
Other ideas to make:
– make lots of rabbits and add three to a card
– use scrapbooking paper or an old book page or magazine (remember to ask your parents first)
– small circle to add a tail to the rabbits
