LEGO Life has been designed with safety in mind and addresses all relevant safety risks.

The app bridges physical and digital play, innovating on the best of today’s social network features and safeguarding them for kids.

What are the key features?

Once downloading the app, kids are requested to sign the LEGOSafety Pledge to help safeguard the community.

They can personalise their avatar from a selection of minifigure and mini doll faces, hairstyles and wardrobes. This is a way to increase kids’ privacy.

Kids can then customise their newsfeed by following groups to get updates from their favorite characters and themes, plus interesting builds, images and challenges.

‘Friendling’ Kids can safely ‘friend’ each other due to the minifigure avatar and app-generated username features that ensure no personal information is shared. Parents can also approve who their children friend.

Ability to upload and shareLEGO creationswith friends. Note, moderators are in place to ensure everyone is sharing with care. Kids can also like and comment on other posts using LEGO emoticons instead of words.

LEGO Life has a new Verified Parental Control feature that requires kids to ask their parents or guardian to verify their account by entering credit card details. The app is completely free to download and use, the card details simply ensure the person verifying the account is 18+ and is a strategy to further safeguard play. See more information about this feature HERE.

Rewards and badgesare generated to encourage kids to be creative.
