Kemar Meaningful Directions

Life can be tough…the pressures of work, raising kids, finding a checkout open when you have a trolley full of groceries, getting the kids to bed, trying to get yourself to bed with an ever-increasing to-do list, working on relationships, keeping up appearances, and the list goes on…And we haven’t even touched on major life stressors, challenges and painful events that will inevitably come your way that will cause difficult emotions to arise. And if there is one thing we know, we don’t tend to manage difficult emotions very well.

Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to better handle the pressures that life serves up to us, especially in the throes of motherhood? But where do ordinary women go to learn this? There are so many physical health programs out there to help you have good physical health, but where are the programs you can go to for good mental health? This is where we come in…

Between us, we bring a mix of expert mental health know-how, industry cred, a passion for helping others, a bunch of creativity, and our own chaotic life experience - just the right recipe for doing something new and genuinely useful, we think.

We run a life-changing group program for women, that really works. It focuses on helping people reconnect with themselves, learn techniques for managing difficult thoughts and emotions, practicing how to access the compassionate self and true self, and developing a plan to take steps in a meaningful direction. It is thought-provoking, entertaining, educational and experiential. What we do is NOT therapy! It’s one of the few spaces you can come to and not feel that anyone is trying to ‘fix’ you. In our experience, that’s incredibly important.
