2020 however has presented an exceptional set of circumstances, collectively for everyone, as COVID-19 has created an exceptional amount of heightened worries and concerns.

- There have been a lot of medical papers in the last few weeks highlighting multiple areas of the body aside from the respiratory system that can suffer long term damage as a result of contracting COVID. What should parents be aware of?
- While children tend to fare better with coronavirus infections, some paediatric patients develop Multi-system Inflammatory Syndrome in Children, or MIS-C.
The syndrome has been compared to Kawasaki disease, which causes swelling in arteries throughout the body.
