Red Nose Recommends Continuous Supervision of Sleeping Children in Childcare Settings

Is your childcare provider following safe sleep best practices? 🛏️👶

Red Nose Australia is sounding the alarm on outdated supervision methods. 😔
10-minute checks aren’t enough — especially for babies under 12 months or those at risk of SUDI (Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy).

✅ Best practice means being in the same room — within sight and hearing — at all times.
If that’s not possible, frequent bedside checks (not CCTV) are a must.

Your child’s safety during sleep should never be left to chance.
💛 Because one missed moment can change everything.
