Irrespective of what continent you’re on, or which country you live in, we’re all connected by the same challenges of social isolation.
Human beings are a tribal species. We need to be connected with each other through a sense of kinship and social bonding.
On the flip side of this, when we are disconnected we fall into negative emotions such as depression, frustration, irritabilities etc
That said, communication is important more now than ever.
To help talk to us more about this we welcome our special guest, Trish Corbett, author of ‘How To Raise Kids With Integrity – for Parents, Child Care Educators & Teachers’. She is also the founder of Ethical Foundations – helping you raise kids with integrity.
We ask Trish questions including:
- How do you see social isolation has enabled us to build better quality relationships?
- Do you think that once this is all over that there will be a shift in behaviours or, do you think that the large majority of people will stay the same?
- The perception, over the past few years, was most people are far too dependent on their electronic devices. However, it’s ironic these devices have helped get us through this time as they’ve allowed us to communicate with loved ones. What are your thoughts on this?
- What are the 3 main character traits you see that can help support us during this time?
- Is there a connection between the 3 character traits?
- What key lessons do you think this time will teach our children?
