By now you may have got the feeling that this COVID-19 thing is not going away too quickly and we may have to continue making adjustments our lives until they announce they have a vaccine.

This has meant that life has no doubt been much more stressful than normal. Prior to COVID-19 we all know and have experienced what it’s like to go through emotionally tough times, it takes its toll on mentally, physically and spiritually.

It’s during these tough times we need an outside perspective to help guide our way through and get us to the other side.

Lucky for us our special guest Narelle King is going to do just that. In today’s interview we talk about the positive changes you can make to help maintain your health and wellbeing, these are just ideas and may just open a door of new thinking for you as a new option you may not have considered before.

Narelle King is a Yin & Nidra Yoga instructor and Wellness Coach for Simply Happy.

She helps working mums who are always on the go, and struggle with the constant juggle of work and family commitments that leave them exhausted and taking a toll on their health.

We ask Narelle questions including:

  1. As a busy mum of two children, one who was diagnosed with autism 2 years ago, how did you come to an understanding of the importance of rest and making sure your cup is full to be able to continue to be your best for my son and the rest of my family?
  2. You can tell us a little more about this and how since you’ve realised it what changes you made to your life?
  3. If a parent hasn’t yet found what is their healthy coping strategy, why is it so important that they take the time to discover this for themselves?
  4. You’re a Yin & Nidra Yoga instructor, can you tell us what that is, and how is it different from other forms of yoga?
  5. What are the benefits of Nidra Yoga and what changes did you notice after you started taking classes?
  6. How mindfulness can reduce stress and support our immune system?
  7. What are 3 ideas to create more mindful routines?
  8. What are the benefits of regularly practising yin & Nidra yoga?
