With fresh veg and satay sauce

Ingredients

  • Our satay sauce (see recipe)
  • Rice paper
  • 1 pack Vermicelli noodles
  • 2 capsicum (a mix of yellow and red is nice)
  • ¼ Red cabbage
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 head gourmet lettuce
  • 500g of protein of your choice (we like to use chicken fillets or tofu or both!)
  • Sesame oil
  • 1 bunch coriander
  • ½ cup tamari
  • Chilli paste
  • Sesame seeds

Procedure

  1. Prepare your satay sauce, and noodles as per pack instructions, then finely slice the veg julienne style.
  2. In a small pot, heat your tamari with your desired amount of chilli paste. This will be your dipping sauce.
  3. In a pan, fry off your protein with olive oil, a splash of sesame oil and s&p. Lay all the ingredients out on a table, with a big bowl of hot water for the rice paper.
  4. Serve with the satay sauce, and garnish with coriander and sesame seeds. A great sharing meal!

 

Notes

A fun group dinner meal that is healthy and fresh! You can use any veggies that you wish -get creative!
