With fresh veg and satay sauce
Ingredients
- Our satay sauce (see recipe)
- Rice paper
- 1 pack Vermicelli noodles
- 2 capsicum (a mix of yellow and red is nice)
- ¼ Red cabbage
- 2 carrots
- 1 head gourmet lettuce
- 500g of protein of your choice (we like to use chicken fillets or tofu or both!)
- Sesame oil
- 1 bunch coriander
- ½ cup tamari
- Chilli paste
- Sesame seeds
Procedure
- Prepare your satay sauce, and noodles as per pack instructions, then finely slice the veg julienne style.
- In a small pot, heat your tamari with your desired amount of chilli paste. This will be your dipping sauce.
- In a pan, fry off your protein with olive oil, a splash of sesame oil and s&p. Lay all the ingredients out on a table, with a big bowl of hot water for the rice paper.
- Serve with the satay sauce, and garnish with coriander and sesame seeds. A great sharing meal!
