Parenting Matters is the Private Practice of Michele Meehan, a qualified Maternal & Child Health nurse, with extra qualifications in Health education, Counselling, and a Masters in Parent & Infant Mental Health.
She has worked as a Clinical Nurse Consultant at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne for the last 30 years, and now offering private practice in Parkville and Maribyrnong
Her Masters’ Thesis was on Infant Food Refusal, and Parenting Matters now specialises in baby and toddler feeding difficulties.
Being a Nurse, fees are not rebatable on Medicare or the bigger Health Funds, but are kept to the level of the gap from other similar Specialist Consultations.
