Monash Aquatic and Recreation Centre

Located in Glen Waverley, Monash Aquatic & Recreation Centre has something for everyone!
Our facilities include:
Indoor 25m pool – This pool is heated to 31 degrees celsius for year round comfort.
Outdoor 50m pool – Lap it up or relax! This pool is heated to approximately 27 degrees Celsius and is open all year round.
Indoor Wave Pool – The Centre’s 40 metre heated indoor Wave Pool provides beach breaks for hours of fun for the whole family. There are also big wave sessions for body boards only.
Warm Water Exercise Pool – Heated to 34 degrees and separate from the main aquatic hall, this 20 metre pool is a fantastic way to recuperate and relax in a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. This pool available to patrons aged 16 years and over during opening hours with the exception of certain times.
Toddler Play Pools – Come and have fun with your kids in the toddler play pools. These play pools allow parents and kids to have fun with the water squirting frogs, a swim through the tunnel and a visit to the bubbles section. These pools provide a variable water depth to allow small children to become more familiar and confident in an aquatic environment
State of the Art Health club with the latest cardioand strength equipment plus over 70 group fitness classes a week.
MARC Child Care can also look after your children while you swim, work out or run errands.

Minkys Swim School
Since opening in December 2001 we have helped tens of thousands of children and adults become safer, stronger swimmers. Starting from 6 months of age and progressing all the way through to adult swimming lessons and lap squads.
Our swim school program is designed to give all ages and abilities the opportunity to:
become familiar with the aquatic environment
participate in a variety of fun and educational activities
build confidence through water familiarisation
improve stroke technique
enhance water safety skills and personal progression
