Australian Girls Choir
Look no further than the Australian Girls Choir because we educate, encourage and inspire girls as they learn to sing, dance and perform. Our classes are the perfect place for girls to build confidence and develop music and presentation skills.
We invite all school aged girls to join the AGC – with encouragement and training we believe that every girl can learn to sing, and our dedicated tutors and dynamic classes cater for varying abilities and confidence levels.
Is she 5, 6 or 7?
junior@agc – A very good place to start
junior@agc nurtures girls aged 5, 6 and 7. She will blossom as she sings, dances and plays in our fun and inclusive classes. Each lesson will see girls develop vocal skills through a variety of warm-ups, rounds, singing games and fun songs; and our classes include movement and choreography, drama and speaking exercises, and fun games with a teamwork focus.
Is she 8 or older?
AGC – Singing and so much more
Girls aged 8 and above take the next step in their performing arts education, growing socially and musically in our training levels. Girls have fun as they continue to develop their singing and performing skills through warm ups and technical exercises, fun songs and theatrical activities.
Our senior choristers begin their journey in our training levels and are given unique performance opportunities where they dazzle audiences; they perform live at major sporting events, official receptions for prestigious guests, on national television, and all around the world on choir tours.
Our girls recently sang ’Happy’ with international superstar Pharrell Williams, and have performed for Queen Elizabeth II and President Barack Obama.
Join AGC
Girls are encouraged to attend a complimentary trial class at their local rehearsal before joining, which provides a taste of the range of activities we offer. It’s not necessary for girls to prepare anything for this class and your daughter will not be required to sing by herself.
