Great for Christmas or Easter, this ham is so simple to make and has a great glaze made with our Champagne Jelly.
Makes: 18 servings, Active Time: 20 minutes, Total Time: 3 hours
Ingredients:
- 6 pounds semi-boneless smoked ham half
- 5 oz of Champagne Jelly
- 1 tablespoon Apple Cider Jelly
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 325°F. In a greased 13×9-inch baking pan, place the ham face down. Using a knife, make 1-inch diagonal slices (about ¼-inch deep) crisscross along the ham creating a diamond pattern. Cover with foil and bake for 1½ hours.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine Champagne Jelly and Apple Cider Jelly. Microwave on HIGH for 20-30 seconds. Remove the foil from the ham.
- Baste the ham with the jelly mixture. Continue baking it uncovered for 30 minutes.
- Increase the oven temperature to 400°F. Baste and continue baking for 30-45 minutes, basting every 15 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 145°F on an instant-read food thermometer and the outside of the ham is nicely browned.
- Remove from oven, cover with foil, and let stand 15-20 minutes before slices.
