A recipe from Hazel & Cacao and Califia Farms
Ingredients:
3/4 cups red rice (rinsed)
1/4 cup red quinoa (rinsed)
2 TBSP maple syrup
1 tsp beetroot powder (for colour)
4 cups Califia Farms Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
Method
- Place all ingredients in a saucepan, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until rice is completely cooked through.
- Serve with nut butter, fruits of choice and dairy free dark chocolate on top.
- You can add more almond milk for a creamier texture and extra beetroot powder for a red look.
