Jodie Myintoo Counsellor
My name is Jodie Myintoo and I am a counsellor, I completed my Diploma in Counselling with a Government Accredited school called the Australian Institute of Professional Counselling.
Like all reputable counsellors, I have a supervisor, she has been a psychologist for over 20 years, her knowledge and experience is valuable. I sought a supervisor that has similar passions to myself with regards to relationships and her priceless experience of working with men.
I have a thirst and drive, that is why I sought to become a counsellor, I have a desire to work with blended families, couples, and single parents recently divorced/separated. It is about empowering them with the knowledge, providing a safe space, working through grief and loss.
My approaches I will use in session is mainly solution focus, person-centred therapy and Acceptance Commitment Therapy. I honour that the client is the expert in their own lives and I support them to discover this through counselling.
I offer a safe and supportive space, where you can talk about your difficulties or challenges you are currently experiencing, I want to help you find positive ways to manage the current situation
My fee is $65 for 60 minutes. I do offer after hour service as I am conscious of work commitments you may have. couples are $85.
I am also an ACA member #10838 which means I am with the Australian Counselling Association.
