SCIENCE IN ACTION 2018

City: Kingston
Time: Saturday: 10.00am-4.00pm

Work of local, national, and international STEM organisations is on show at this free community event during National Science Week.

This interactive science fair is for science enthusiasts of all ages. Over 50 stallholders from local STEM organisations will be there to engage you with hands on activities that showcase how science is used every day in their work.

How do scientists make change? Will you be a game changer? How can we all contribute to improve our future? Come to Science in ACTion to get hands on with STEM and explore the science all around you.

Learn about the future of ecosystems, technology, medicine and the Earth. Discover how geologists and archaeologists uncover stories from the past.

What could you see through a telescope looking out into the Milky Way, or by peering down a microscope?

Meet scientists who help to conserve iconic plants and animals, and learn how renewable energies can protect the Earth’s climate.

Bookings not required – just turn up and be inspired by Canberra’s Science in ACTion.
