EXHIBITION: “MINING THE SUBCONSCIOUS” BY JANET BUSH

City: Moonah
Time: MAC is open Tuesday – Friday 10 am – 5 pm, Saturday 11 am – 3 pm, closed public holiday

Janet Bush’s exhibition “Mining the Subconscious” explores ideas of order and chaos – in nature, systems, the mind and through all layers of society.

The subconscious is a vast reservoir of feelings, thoughts, ideas, experiences and imagery.

With an intuitive approach and using the basic drawing materials of pen and paper, Janet Bush dives into the subconscious. Her drawings are an attempt to uncover what is forgotten or suppressed.

The exhibition opens at Moonah Arts Centre (MAC) Thurs 6 Jun, 6 pm, and runs 7 Jun – 29 Jun. Entry is free. MAC is open Tuesday – Friday 10 am – 5 pm, Saturday 11 am – 3 pm, closed public holidays.
